Our Doctor

Dr. Purewal graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry with internship training at the Brooklyn and Las Vegas Veteran Affairs Hospitals. Her special interests include primary care, dry eyes, pediatrics, and co-management of ocular diseases. Dr. Purewal’s professional experiences include both primary care and ocular disease offices, Chicago Public Schools, and community outreach volunteer work. She strives to provide thorough patient education during examinations and make certain all questions are answered. She ensures accurate prescriptions are prescribed based on vision needs and hobbies. She is fluent in English and Punjabi and can provide basic eye examinations in Spanish. During her free time, Dr. Purewal enjoys traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and loved ones.
